Lately...

Things have been a little crazy. My skin cancer is healing slowly. I wish it would heal a little faster but I guess it is doing it thing. I have what is called "mallot finger" and I have to wear a splint for 8 weeks! It has only been a week and I am over it.

We went to the beach this past weekend for Father's Day and we had a blast. Mom, Ryan, and Ava and I went to the beach and AVa and Ryan had fun in the waves. The water was so clear it was crazy. I could see the bottom. Plus, the waves weren't too rough so it was fun. Ava had a constant smile on her face. I have never seen her so happy than when she is at the beach. She has always loved the beach. When she was little we would take her to the beach and she would just dive into the surf. It was so funny. She would not want any help from anyone and she would fuss at us if we tried to help her.

We got the world's best dog. He is great and knows everything. Everything Dave dislikes about dogs, this dog doesn't do. He doesn't bark, jump, or lick too much. He is perfect. Ava really has enjoyed him. The cats are not so happy but I am hoping they will come around.

I got a roof top cargo luggage carrier thingy for our upcoming trip to Nashville. This way the dog can ride in the back and Ava is not too crowded with luggage. Now I have to come up with lots of stuff to keep Ava busy. She is in her "are we there yet phase".
